Meet Kim

A Voice for the Community. A Focus on Listening.
I’ve long believed in the power of local government to create meaningful, lasting change. After a successful career working in both Fortune 500 companies and small businesses, I bring decades of leadership experience in operations and marketing, with specific strengths in product development, promotion, and sales. Over the years, I’ve honed a skill set that’s deeply rooted in collaboration and problem-solving—skills I’m ready to put to work for the community I call home.
Prepared to Lead
Throughout my career, I’ve held a variety of roles, from streamlining operations and boosting productivity, to developing customer-focused solutions in marketing and sales. I know how to ask the right questions, listen carefully, and deliver results that balance need with sustainability. I also understand the unique challenges facing small businesses, having worked with companies ranging from just a few employees to larger teams. I believe small businesses are the backbone of strong communities, and I’m committed to helping them thrive here in Stow.
Ready to Serve
My approach to public service is grounded in the same principles that guided me in business: engagement, professionalism, collaboration, and respect. Just as I always made time to listen to my clients and colleagues, I’m committed to listening to the people of Stow—because your voices matter most.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Akron and completed graduate coursework in Teaching English as a Second Language at Kent State. My late husband, a Navy veteran and business strategist, deeply influenced my strong sense of duty and respect for democracy. Supporting veterans in our community is something I care deeply about, especially as my father and two brothers also served. My daughter, a proud Kent State graduate, lives and works nearby, strengthening my deep roots and ongoing commitment to this region.
I live in Stow and enjoy hiking, golfing, supporting local eateries with friends, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. These experiences fuel my passion for protecting our green spaces and improving connectivity across our city.
I’m ready to bring my skills, energy, and heart to Stow City Council At-Large—and I would be honored to earn your support. Whether it’s through your vote, a donation, or volunteering, your involvement can help shape the future of our community.
Let’s build a better, more connected Stow—together.
